Smokin’ Rebates® Error Glossary
The following are common “errors” reported to retailers from Altria after their file has been reviewed and submitted. In some case the “errors” reported are false. Perhaps the participating retailer does not have enough volume, sold the product that reporting period or enrolled in the loyalty program but did not sell any loyalty transactions. All of these examples will result in an error report returned to the retailer BUT WILL NOT affect the payments for that period. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE RETAILER USE THIS GLOSSERY FIRST when receiving a notice from Altria, BEFORE reporting the error to the Smokin Rebates® team.
